Prof. Dr. Figen Beyhan
Figen Beyhan graduated from the Department of Architecture of the Black Sea Technical University (KTU), received her master’s degree in 1994 and her doctorate from the same department in 2000. After working as a research assistant at the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Engineering Architecture of KTU between 1995 and 2000, he began his academic life as a Lecturer at the Department of Interior Architecture of KTU between Dec. 2001 and Dec. 2002. he continued as. At the same time, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Architecture. in 2003-2004, he received the title of Assistant Professor at the University of New South Wales (University of New South Wales, Faculty of Built Environment, Architecture) in Australia. he was also an Assistant between 2002 and 2008. Dec. Assoc. Dr. He worked at the Department of Architecture of Karadeniz Technical University. Assoc. Dr. as a student, he worked at KTU between Dec 2009-2011, at Eskişehir Osmangazi University between Dec 2010-2011 (within the scope of the Farabi Mobility Program) and at Gazi University between Dec 2011-2015. Figen Beyhan received the title of Professor in January 2015 and has been a Professor since 2015. Dr. he is working at Gazi University as a lecturer. Throughout his academic life, he has held various positions such as commission member, department head and vice president.
His research interests include architecture and interior architecture, building physics, fire safety in buildings, energy efficiency in building design, sustainable architecture and energy in architecture. He teaches undergraduate/graduate courses, conducts master’s and doctoral dissertations, and has a large number of papers, research projects and dissertations in these areas.
