Turkish Acoustical Society (TAKDER), was founded in 1992, with the participation of members interested in acoustics from various universities and different departments. Main targets of the Society are; establishment of communication and cooperation among researchers and practitioners of various fields of acoustics, dissemination of information, concerns and warnings about acoustics issues to the public opinion.
