Establishment
Composite Manufacturers Association is a non-profit association representing the raw material, semi, intermediate and final product manufacturers, suppliers and academic institutions of the Turkish Composite Industry. It was established on May 18, 2005.
Aim
The aim of the Composite Manufacturers Association is;
To organize seminars, conferences / symposiums, trips and similar events to inform the public and official institutions about composite,
To identify common and current problems, to seek scientific and rational solutions together,
Publishing periodic bulletins,
To make / have presentations for promotional purposes aimed at the development and expansion of the composite industry,
To take the necessary initiatives to put the studies on composites in Turkey on scientific foundations,
To work to establish and maintain quality standards,
To prepare / have visual documents related to composite application examples and production techniques,
To carry out research and project studies in the composite industry in line with technical requirements, to establish relations with domestic and foreign organizations in this regard,
To carry out studies in universities with the aim of conducting research on technical issues to be determined, to organize lectures and seminars on glass fiber reinforced plastics in these universities in line with demands, to provide undergraduate and graduate scholarships,
By creating a website, ensuring that members and anyone who wants to have access to information about the association’s activity and composite whenever they need it,
To organize training courses to increase the skills of managers, technical staff and qualified workers / masters for the needs of the composite industry, to issue certificates and certificates of achievement,
To follow the domestic and foreign literature on composites, to scan publications, to select useful ones, to monitor domestic and international fairs and to create a data bank to convey the developments in technology.
